Yokomo has a new RWD Drift ride on the horizon – the YD-2 SXIII chassis kit!
The SXIII has been updated with a redesigned double deck carbon fiber chassis, improving traction and high-speed performance. The front bulkhead is loaded with aluminum parts, including the bulkhead and shock tower. Aluminum shocks are also standard issue.
This chassis can accept tall or low-profile LiPo packs thanks to two different battery holders (both included). A new motor mount heatsink is also included to help keep it cool while running. Finally, new 4.8mm pillow balls are used throughout – upper arms, tie rod and kingpin balls.
I’m going to have to get me one of these drift cars – they look so cool and (I bet) a total blast!
