The Race was held in Krieglach a beatiful track in Styria (south-east of Austria). I missed the whole of Saturday’s racing, because i was still at the 1/8th Euros in Germany; I came home late on Saturday and had to convert my DEX210 from Mid-Motor Configuration to Rear-Motor to best suit the dirt track at Krieglach – luckily this only took around 10 minutes!

I drove to Krieglach very early in the Morning to get some practise on the track – I could only do 2 runs with my 2wd (which were the first runs on dirt ever with that car); I was trying the optional gear-differential and the car felt awesome!

There were only 2 rounds of qualifying left – the others were already run on saturday; I Tq´ed my first run and with my lack of track time made some mistakes in the 2nd, so I qualified 4th; Matin Kreil qualified 2nd with his DEX210 Prototype; In 4wd I could not do any practise runs, but I was able to Tq both rounds and took overall Tq, with only 2 rounds out of 5. The 2wd Finals were hard work in the beginning, because I had to overtake the cars in front of me, but I managed to win the first 2 legs; Martin Kreil was very unlucky in the Finals and finished 7th.

2wd final result:

1st Hupo Hönigl DEX210
2nd Rene Trauner
3rd Roland Hauleitner
7th Martin Kreil DEX210 Prototype

Second Race for the Production DEX210 and also second win – The first time ever on dirt!!! 4wd finals were more relaxed and I also won the first 2 legs; 4wd final results:

1st Hupo Hönigl DEX410
2nd Rene Trauner
3rd Stefan Pfeifhofer
4th Roland Macho DEX410
5th Martin Kreil DEX410
8th Marcus Prihoda DEX410
10th Rene Levezow DEX410

With 5 cars in the main another very good result in Durango-Land
