At first glance, you’ll notice a pretty significant drop across the board – let me just start by saying that these numbers are, thankfully, not accurate. In an effort to boost my site’s speed rating, I’ve been playing around in the back end with the cache plugin, a new security plugin and the htaccess file. Things were rolling along great – boosting my site’s rating from a 70 (out of 100) to a 92 (out of 100). Unfortunately, it also killed some traffic. I was unaware of that until later in the month, so I’ve reverted some of the changes back and things were looking normal again.
On a side note, we’ve been getting a TON of traffic from our Eat. Sleep. RC. Giveaway. We just handed out a custom built, full race-ready SC5M from Team Associated to Chris Marsh, our lucky winner.
