Eat. Sleep. RC. February 2016 Giveaway Update - Reedy Power

To ensure that your new Team Associated SC5M is fast and controllable, we’ll be loading it up with a full set of Reedy electronics. From front to back, this includes a Reedy RT1508 Digital HV Competition Servo, Reedy 3900mAh Competition Shorty LiPo Battery, Reedy Blackbox 800Z Zero-Timing Competition ESC and Reedy Sonic 540-M3 17.5T Spec Motor. These are some bold electronics individually, but as a combo this is a pretty ferocious setup in any vehicle.

Reedy’s RT1508 Digital Competition Servo is part of their new line of HV servos. It uses an advanced microprocessor, has a full set of metal gears and features an aluminum case to keep operating temps under control.

The HV, or High Voltage, feature means it’s compatible with LiPo RX batteries or can be used with an ESC that has boosted BEC output voltage. It also uses dual ball bearings and has a 25T spline. Here are the internal specs:

Input (V): 6.0V – 7.4V
Speed (sec/60deg), 6.0V: 0.10
Speed (sec/60deg), 7.4V: 0.08
