Axial’s Yeti SCORE Trophy Truck wouldn’t be complete without a killer set of tires and, of course, a high-intensity light bar. Thankfully, Pro-Line Racing has just what we needed for this project.
Wrapped around a set of Axial’s wheels will be Pro-Line’s Trencher X SC 2.2″/3.0″ M2 Tires. I’ve used these tires on quite a few projects and have to say that they don’t just look the part, they act it as well. The large lugs grip whatever terrain you’re clawing over, and with Axial’s 4WD system, there’s not much terrain that will be impassable. The Trenchers come stuffed with Pro-Line’s blue closed-cell foam inserts, ensuring awesome grip with minimal tire deformation.
The second piece of the Pro-Line puzzle is one of their new 6″ Super-Bright LED Curved Light Bar Kits. This is a new product and I’m so happy we got a chance to install one on our rig. It features 30 pre-wired, super-bright LED’s mounted in a black nylon housing with a 12″ long power lead that plugs right into your receiver (or directly into a 2S/3S LiPo battery). The curved housing matches most roof lines and will look absolutely awesome on the freshly painted Axial body.
